Men in Christ (MIC) was founded in 2011 by Rev. Nkosi Khanyile after he discovered a gap between younger and older men which resulted in a lack of mentorship and succession planning. Having started with only 8 members, it has grown significantly over the years and is now sitting with 180 members and still counting.

The obstacles faced by men in society today are numerous, this includes an array of problems such as moral degeneration, identity crisis, academic difficulties, fear to make decisions, absence of father to son relationships, inability to express feelings, substance abuse and men’s health issues. When our young men face these difficulties there are also significant consequences for family members, the community, and society in general. When considering the most beneficial methods of addressing these social problems Rev Nkosi Khanyile therefore created a platform for dialogue for men to rediscover their male identity under shared values.
We aspire to develop noble men with character and integrity who have a balance in all spheres of life (spiritually, socially, family life and career development) that will make a positive difference in the lives of people from their communities. It is our desire, purpose and mission to pass on the baton to future men in society
